Series One: Film Daily and Predecessors, 1915-1970

Film Daily described itself as "international in scope and intimate in character" and for 55 years it was the daily newspaper of the film and, later, the television industries. It provided the latest trade news, details of films launched, films in progress, industry takeovers, financial crises, budget difficulties, company liquidations and court cases.
