"The breadth of coverage is unprecedented, with 20 years of back files and virtually every popular, business, and professional topic covered, all available from a desktop."
Advanced Technologies/Libraries (August 2000)
Since the release of Academic OneFile, the ultimate peer-reviewed resource, we decided to separate our periodical platform into two groups: General interest content and Academic Journal content. To support this differentiation, we decided to rename our largest general interest database General OneFile.
General OneFile serves as the Public library's ultimate periodical resource, with more than 11,500 titles, and a great deal of full-text, 60% of which are recommended by Bowker's "Magazines for Libraries" publication. We've included the right reference, newspapers and audio content to complement the robust collection of magazines and journals.
There's a lot of unique content in General OneFile that cannot be found in other products.
Full-text of the New York Times to 1995, Financial Times to 1996 and London Times to 1985.
