This collection documents the development of the Permanent Court, proposed in 1920 and established in 1922, in response to problems seen in the processes of The Hague Court of Arbitration. It chronicles the foundation upon which the new international law was established, and includes extracts from the minutes of the meetings held during preliminary sessions of the Court as well as judgments and advisory opinions given by the Court.
