Since there is no extensive work to examine the equivalence of musical vocabulary from both languages, and the scarcity of literature in Spanish about music, the usefulness of this dictionary is completely justified. Entries divided between English and Spanish section, some of which may offer some doubts about their literacy have been incorporated into two sections, in order to facilitate the search of the reader. Most words are classified thematically and, due to the difficulty that may present the technical vocabulary, it helps the reader indicating their relation to the different fields of musical knowledge. Abbreviations contemplate large number of musical materials: acoustic, stringed instruments, string instruments, instrument building, ethnomusicology, decoration...
