Juego de Pelota en Mesoamerica

  • Published by Fundacion Cultural Armella Spitalier

The tradition of ball game is maybe one of the most studied rituals in the prehispanic world. In this title we will develop the subject by explaining it from its possible origins and to the game rules that framed its practice. The theory that studies the possibility of assimilating the game court to the cosmos brought along a possible explanation for the possibility of shapes and variables in their constructions. Winning in ball game meant glory, and losing had vital consequences.
