Sports Stars, Series 3 adds 30 amatuer and professional athletes to its coverage. Students will find biographical sketches averaging seven pages each on athletes who participate in a wide range of sports, including auto racing, baseball, basketball, figure skating, golf, hockey, tennis, volleyball and more. Also included is a listing by sport of all the athletes featured in Series 1, Series 2 and Series 3 as well as a cumulative name and subject index covering athletes in all three series. Entries contain more than 50 photos including action shots of the individual.
