More than 650 titles of novels and other books of interest to young adults are included. Libraries can purchase all volumes for a complete collection of young adult literature, or opt to select individual volumes and mini-sets as well. Volumes 1-3 and 6-8 are mini-sets, with update volumes 4, 5 and 9 released to maintain the relevancy of the data.

Volumes 6-8 and Vol. 9 cover contemporary titles. Each volume and mini-set contains an index, and Vol. 9 contains a cumulative index for all volumes and an appendix to titles organized by major themes.
