The college of Physicians of Philadelphia was America's first medical school and training hospital, and one of its most distinguished medical institutions. The college's publication, Transactions, was begun under the editorship of Dr. Benjamin Rush in 1793 and is the oldest continuing medical journal in the U.S. This microfilm publication is the only available collection of the entire run of this journal through 1971.
