The titles represent not only all regions of the United States but also such countries as Panama, England, France, Egypt, Liberia, Haiti, India, and South Africa.

The periodicals are arranged in alphabetical order by title, with issues in chronological order whenever more than one issue is provided for a single title. This wide-ranging collection will provide researchers with a valuable cross-section of black opinion.
