Archives of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (Left in Britain, Part 5)
Since the 1950s, the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (C.N.D.) has combined radical political figures with Christian activists in one of the greatest single-issue protest movements in the post-war era. Philosophers, historians, churchmen and such politicians as Bertrand Russell, A.J.P. Taylor and E.P. Thompson have rallied to its cause.
