Identity Theft As credit card companies pitch their offerings to ever younger people and as more parents indulge their teenagers with credit cards, reading about the "Crime without a Scene" is critical. It may help teens treat handle their credit cards with more care for knowing where they are even if they don’t use caution with spending. Other chapter titles in this introduction to identity theft include "Bank Identity Theft," "Mail, Garbage, and Identity Theft," "Stealing Numbers," "A Brand-New Name," and "Online Identity Theft." Color is used throughout in photographs, inset boxes of information, graphs, and "By the Numbers" brief statistics. A two-page bibliography for further reading is included.
