Information about young heroes in this series of books has a similar format: four chapters, notes, a glossary of terms in bold face in the text, and a brief bibliography in 48 pages illustrated with color photos. The message is that young people can make a difference. These provide another separate kind of hero for elementary students to read about and emulate.
