Fairies. By Jan Burns. Detroit, Mich.: Kidhaven Press Thomson Gale, 2007. 1 vol. 48 p. $26.20. ISBN 10: 0-7377-3635-6; 13: 978-0-7377-3635-9.

Fairies Arthur Conan Doyle accepted as real a photograph of fairies taken by two girls, Frances Griffith and Elsie Wright, who, not wishing to embarrass Mr. Doyle and others who accepted their photo as real did not admit to its falsehood until they were adults. Other encounters are reported, and at the end of the book, further research is suggested to determine the existence of fairies.
