Social Issues Primary Sources Collection

This series provides similar entry structures for each volume, including a brief introduction to chapters and, for each entry, the primary source, title, subtitle, type and key facts. Entries include book excerpts, journal articles, government documents, speeches, newspaper articles, photographs, songs and more. Information is given about the author, an introduction to the primary source, its actual source, significance and a brief bibliography with books and Web sites. Black and white photographs illustrate some of the articles. Each volume begins with a chronology and each has a bibliography of additional resources in the appendix. A few typos missed the skilled eye of the editor.
