Abortion. Edited by Emma Carlson Berne. Detroit, Mich.: Greenhaven Press Thomson Gale, 2007. 120 p. $32.45. ISBN 10: 0-7377-3563-5; ISBN 13: 978-0-7377-3563-5.

Abortion The constant debate over whether abortions should be legal or illegal occurs at every level and in every form of media. It is particularly important at this time when a change in the Supreme Court has let opponents of abortion lobby for the repeal of Roe vs. Wade. Further, the new drugs such as "morning after" pills are fueling other discussions and debates. Chapters ask "Is Abortion Ethical?", "What Restrictions Should Be Placed on Abortion?" and "Who Controls Abortion Decisions?" This is a hot topic and one that some parents will not want to have discussed in classrooms, but it is reality that cannot be ignored.
