How to get your locationID
If you have other Gale subscriptions, look at the URL that is displayed on the Gale Common Menu (from any of your Gale products, select the “Change Databases” link, this will take you to the Gale Common Menu. Look at the URL that is displayed now. The last part of it is your locationID (also called a user group name). Find additional information about locating your locationID here.

The new versions of LitFinder and LitFinder for Schools are both live now on the new Gale platform – you can make this change immediately. The legacy versions of LitFinder and LitFinder for Schools will remain accessible until July 29. After that, if you follow a legacy LitFinder access URL link, you will see a page explaining that LitFinder has moved. You will not be able to access your subscription from that page.
