Search 1:

Stephanie is working on a research project for the toy industry and wants to know how many retailers are in Maryland to assist her research.

Solution:

1. Enter "toys" in the company name field
2. Choose Maryland from the state drop down menu
3. Click "Search"
4. Click the "See Report" option for a business (a checkmark indicates that a report is available for a business)

Search 2:

A young couple – Beth and Steve – are tasked with conducting a survey of tax preparation businesses in a specific area; they'd like to product a list of all tax preparation businesses including address and phone number.

Solution:

1. Click the "lookup" button next to the yellow pages code search field
2. Enter "tax" in the search box and click the search button
3. Click code "5238 tax return preparation"
4. Choose Michigan from the state drop down field
5. Click the "lookup" button next to the Metropolitan area search box
6. Choose the code for Ann Arbor
7. Click "Search" at the bottom of the screen
8. From the Generate Marketing List screen, choose "Excel CSV" from the file type, "Company Name" from the sort field, "Email" from the location field, enter your email address, check the box of the additional info you want on your list, and choose the number of results you want to download
9. Click "go"
